RULES
Team Composition:
- Each team consists of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 players.
- Players must be current students of the college.
Match Format:
- Matches are played on a futsal court with a standard futsal ball.
- The game consists of two halves, each lasting 6/6 minutes.
- There is a 2-minute halftime break.
- Teams switch ends at halftime.
Substitutions:
- Substitutions can be made at any time during the match.
- Substituted players must enter and exit the field at the designated substitution area.
Offsides:
- There are no offsides in futsal.
Fouls and Misconduct:
- Fouls are penalized with free kicks.
- Players committing serious fouls or acts of unsportsmanlike conduct may receive yellow cards (cautions) or red cards (ejections) at the discretion of the referee.
- A player who receives two yellow cards in a match will be shown a red card and ejected from the game.
Referee Decisions:
- The referee's decisions regarding gameplay, fouls, goals, and other matters are final and must be respected by all participants.
Standings and Advancement:
- The tournament will have group stages followed by knockout rounds.
- Teams earn points based on match results (e.g., 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
- The top teams from the group stage advance to the knockout rounds based on their standings.
Fair Play:
- Participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and fair play throughout the tournament.
- Any form of verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or unsporting behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.
